몇달전부터 대여하려고 벼르고 있었는데 

도서관에 계속 대출돼있어서 지금에서야 읽은 인기도서 <When You Reach Me>입니다.

<어느 날 미란다에게 생긴 일>이라니... 한국어판 제목은 그다지 와닿지 않네요;

뉴베리상 수상작으로 초등학생용 도서구요.

어린이도 어른도 모두 사로잡을만한 멋진 이야기예요 +_+ 

흡입력도 강해서 3일만에 다 읽었어요~ 초보들도 원서로 읽기 좋은 소설로 추천합니다!

소꿉친구와 멀어지는걸 경험 해보고, 책에도 빠져보고, 새로운 친구를 사귀기도 하고, 

친구랑 싸우기도, 알바도 해보는등 평범한 일상을 보내고 있는 

초등학교 6학년 소녀 미란다는 어느 날 알 수 없는 의미의 쪽지를 발견합니다.

미스테리한 쪽지에 얽힌 비밀을 풀어나가며 미란다가 성장해나가는 과정을 담고 있어요.

유쾌하면서도, 긴장감도 있고, 편견에 대한 교훈메시지도 있고..

마지막엔 왠지 슬퍼서 코가 찡해지는...ㅠ 대박 소설입니다!

어린이 책이라고 무시하지 마세요~

처음엔 그냥 평범한 일상이라고 생각했던 부분들도 결국엔 비밀이 숨겨져 있으며

작가가 천재인가 싶을 정도로 아주 탄탄한 미스테리 소설이었어요!!!
